Adding a Public Certificate to PayPal

Follow these step-by-step instructions to add a public certificate to your own PayPal account. Click on the pictures below to find out more.

1. Click on the word 'Profile'
2. Click on My selling preferences.
3. Click on Encrypted Payment Settings, at the bottom of the page.
4. On the Website Payment Certificates page, click Add.
5. Click on Choose File.
6. Locate the pem file, which contains the certificate.
7. Click Add, to upload the certificate to PayPal.
8. Make a note of the certificate ID.
